Description: The Village Historian's role is to preserve and maintain the historical records and architecture of the Village of Saugerties for the enrichment of current and future generations and to act as an advocate for Saugerties Village properties when they are threatened.

Marjorie is President of the Saugerties Historical Society.  She was named Village of Saugerties Historian by then Mayor Robert A. Yerick in 2008 and has been reappointed to  that position since then.

Marjorie manages the Kiersted House and the Dutch Barn located on the same property.

Marjorie is also the Town of Saugerties Tourism Director and heads the Tourism Committee.
